Fr. Robert J. Polewaski, 45, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 14, 1994, at St. Margaret Mercy South in Dyer. He is survived by his loving mother, Adele Polewaski of Chicago; three brothers, Carl (Jenny) Polewaczyk of Martinez, California, Richard (Barbara) Polewaczyk of Hammond, Indiana, and Phillip (Xio) Polewaski of Tampa, Florida; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday,November 17, 1994, at 8 am at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Avenue, Hammond. Solemn Latin Tridentine Requiem High Mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 4009 Fir Street, East Chicago, Indiana, with Archbishop Theodore Rematt celebrating the Mass. Burial will take place at the Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, Illinois. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm.
