He was retired from the Blue Ribbon Pencil Company.

Born in Bloomfield , IN, son of Joe and Mae Bennett Baker. Member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Indian Summer Club at church and a member of Do Si Do's Square Dance Club.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Other surviving family includes two sons Larry M. (Cathy) Baker, Germantown, TN. and Joe B. (Kathy) Baker, Ft. Wright, KY, a brother and sister, Richard Baker, Layfayette , IN. and Luanna Hawn, Lexington, KY, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, one niece and four nephews.

Service 1 pm Tue, W. R. Milward-Broadway. Visitation Mon 5-8 pm. Burial at Camp Nelson Cemetery.
