On July 14, 2016 Terry Eugene Pittman, 64, of Manson, Wash. passed away in Kent, Wash. surrounded by family.

Terry was born in Seattle, Wash. to Harold and Maxine Pittman on December 2, 1951. He was the eldest of three sons. Seattle was called home into adulthood and is where Terry learned his love for motorcycles, cars and music. As a young man, Terry was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Terry graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1970, he continued on to receive an Associates of Arts degree from Highline Community College. HCC is where he met and later fell in love with his wife Linda, they were married on May 22, 1976.

Terry spent the majority of his working carrier within the aerospace industry and retired from The Boeing Company in 2011. Upon retirement, Terry and Linda moved to Manson, Wash. where he joined the family apple farming business.

Terry enjoyed many hobbies during his lifetime. He joined the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team in 1974. He was a devoted member performing in shows and parades around the country. He earned the rare title of Life Member after being an active part of the team for 35 years. His passion for motorcycles went far beyond his membership in the Cossacks. Terry enjoyed riding his Harley cross-country with his friends and teammates and made one special trip with his wife Linda. Dirt biking and snowmobiling with family and friends was a favored pastime.

Woodworking was a hobby and special skill Terry enjoyed throughout his life and he shared his craft with his family by making furniture, decorations, and toys.

Terry's sensible nature and streaks of humor nurtured and entertained all who knew him.

Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.

He is survived by his wife Linda Pittman of Manson, Wash.; daughter Kristyn and Donovan Hackman of Kent, Wash.; son Darryl and Jennifer Pittman and grandchildren Adam, Audrey, and Nora of Covington, Wash.; two brothers; Richard and Kathy Pittman of Manson, Wash.; Harold N. and Sherry Pittman of Manson, Wash.; father Harold E. Pittman of Manson, Wash.; 10 nieces a and nephews with even more great nieces and nephews that he enjoyed so much.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Pittman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his home in Manson on Saturday, September 10, 11 a.m. to 5 pm. Please stop by.
