Marshall Wright, Jr., 89, of Kansas City, Missouri completed his earthly journey peacefully at home on February 5, 2018.
Marshall was born on March 12, 1928, in Orrville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marzette Wright, his parents, Minerva and Marshall Wright, Sr., brothers, Lawrence Gamble and Robert Lee Wright, sisters, Minerva Odgen and Julia Williams and a stepson, Bonnie Davis.
Marshall had a joyous spirit, loved to hunt, work in his garden, and make people laugh. He retired from Tension Envelope.
Marshall Wright, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, sisters, Mable L. Bussey of Kansas City, Missouri and Gracie L. Wright of Selma Alabama; a brother, Leroy Wright of New Orleans, Louisiana; a son, William Bell of Mobile, Alabama; a stepson, Henry Davis of Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service for Marshall Wright, Jr. will be held Tuesday, February 12, 11:00 a.m. at the Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel.
Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery
