Hw began working with his father at the growing family business. His father died in 1963 and he continued to operate Bromleys Body and Fender Shop in West Chazy until he retired in 1996.
Over the years he enjoyed spending time at the lakeside Bromley Camp; maintaining the property and hosting large family picnics as his family grew.
He and his wife joined the Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh in 1960 and he was very active with various church committees and activities
Survived by three children (2 daughters and 2 sons) and their spouses a brother-in-law; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson born in 2017; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife of 63 years and two sisters, Doris Anderson and Lucy Montague, who passed away in late 2017.
