She was born on October 21, 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Nils and Nancy (Smith) Nelson. She married Gary Stark on October 1, 2005 in Verona, Wisconsin.
Lisa Field had a lifelong passion for music and earned a Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She did extensive stage acting and singing including working for Walt Disney World at Epcot and performing improv in Chicago. Most recently she performed with her bands the Acoustic Collective and the duo Field and James. Lisa Field enjoyed exercising her mind, body, and soul through yoga, and having a spiritual connection with the earth. She had a strong devotion for family and friends.
Lisa Field is survived by her husband Gary Stark; son, Harrison Glen; parents, Nils and Nancy Nelson; and sister, Kristen (Bob Johnson) Nelson.
Funeral services for Lisa Field will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 408 N. Bergamont Blvd, Oregon. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Cress Center, 6021 University Ave, Madison. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at church on Thursday. Lisa Field will be laid to rest at Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona.
