Sharon Maxwell, of Concord, Alabama, passed away at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday evening, February 12th, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was a strong woman who loved her family deeply. She was a wonderful wife, mother & grandmother. She grew up in Great Falls, Montana, where she met Jerry Maxwell when he was stationed there in the service, married him and moved with him to Alabama, where she had made her home for many years. She was retired from the former Carnaggio's Restaurant where she worked as a hostess, and manager for over 20 years. She enjoyed shopping, mostly online, gardening, and collecting, and painting. She had some wonderful neighbors in her Sunnydell Subdivision. She was a Christian believer, and was ready to meet her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gordon Russell McGregor ('Mac"), & Amelia ("Midge") Cade McGregor, & her beloved sister: Susan McGregor Davis. She is survived by her husband Jerry Maxwell, sons: Troy & Todd Maxwell, grandchildren" Jared & Tessa Maxwell, Tammy Maxwell, & 2 great grandchildren, sister: Marilyn (David) May, and brother Bob McGregor, brother in laws: Mike (Diane) Maxwell, Eddie (Trish) Maxwell, sister-in-law: Sandra Maxwell Putman, several nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral service per her request.
