Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Bryan Dill officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Cerulean, KY he was born June 19, 1951 the son of the late Nelson Clay Green and Cora Frances Brewer Green. He was an early realtor and insurance agent. He also was a production worker at Metalsa. He was an active member at Southside Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Curtis Green.
Survivors include his wife: Jo Ann Green; his sons: Brandon (Emily) Green of Lexington, KY, Ricky Cooper of Hopkinsville, KY, Kenny (Kim) Edwards of Crofton, KY and Billy (Richard) Gillette of Calvert City, KY; his daughter: Lisa (Gary) Meyers of Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers: Clay (Debbie) Green of Hopkinsville KY, and Glenn Green of Princeton, KY; grandchildren: Stephanie Harris, Brittanie Poppke, Morgan Edwards, Colton Edwards, Greyson Edwards, Christopher Cooper, Kayla Cooper, Blake Weber, Jacob Cooper, and Samantha Cooper; and great grandchildren: Blake Harris, Ellery Harris, Jase Poppke, and Lily Poppke.
