LINCOLN ---- Louis B. Fuesting, 69, of Lincoln, died at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 28, 1984) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church, the Rev. Norman Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kerrigan Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.
He was born March 2, 1914, in Effingham, a son of John and Elizabeth Althoff Fuesting. He married Clara M. Esker Nov. 28, 1935, in Teutopolis. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jane Welch, Decatur, and Doris Earl, San Ramon, Calif.; two brothers, Frank, Mattoon, and Edward, Teutopolis; four sisters, Clara Goldstein, Effingham; Agnes Ballow; Sun City, Ariz.; Eva Esker, Harvey; and Katherine Probst, Mattoon; and two grandchildren.
Two brothers, a sister and a daughter preceded him in death.
He had owned and operated Fuesting's Auto Service Electric in Lincoln for 33 years before retiring in April 1972.
He was a member of the Holy Family Church, Knights of Columbus Council 1250 and Lincoln Elks Lodge 914. He had been on the Logan County Bank Board of Directors since 1963.
