October 12, 1933 - February 10, 2018 Betty J. Stiltner Blackburn, age 84, of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Saturday evening February 10,2018, at her home following an extended illness. Betty was born at McAndrews, Kentucky October 12, 1933, the daughter of the late Ballard and Myrtle Bevins Stiltner. Her husband, John L. Blackburn preceded her in death July 3, 2002. Betty also had two brothers, Bill and Joe Stiltner and one sister, Garnet Justice that preceded her death.
Mrs. Blackburn worked many years as a deputy Pike County clerk, and was a member of the Pikeville Free Will Baptist Church since December 2, 1973.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Jonda B. (Jim) Patton of Pikeville, Kentucky and Tonya B. (Rocky) May of Kimper, Kentucky. She has two living brothers, Jack (Juanita) Stiltner of Phyllis, Kentucky and Jim (Eloise) Stiltner of Danville, Kentucky, she also has two sisters, Sue Estepp of Columbus, Ohio and Brenda (Bob) Spears of Kimper, Kentucky.
Betty will be sadly missed and forever loved by her nieces and nephews and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
Visitation will be at J. W. Call & Son Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 P.M. Monday February 12, 2018 and will continue Tuesday. The funeral will be at Pikeville Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Free Will Baptist Ministers Officiating
The visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
The burial will follow at the Blackburn Cemetery at Upper Johns Creek.
