Born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Bone) Thompson.
She was a member of Arden Presbyterian Church, where she was the Music Ministry Assistant and was active in the sewing circle. Judy will be remembered for her love for Christ.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Emily Cantos and her husband Anthony of Asheville; and one grandson with whom she enjoyed spending her time, Landon.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Arden Presbyterian Church, 2215 Hendersonville Rd., Arden with Rev. Dr. Craig Sheppard and Rev. Dwight Basham officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be private.
