Stephen Franz Wolfe, 700 1st Dr. NW, Austin, died Feb. 15, 1989, at Burr Oak Manor

He suffered the past 2-1/2 years from amyotropic lateral sclerosis, a muscular ailment also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Stephen Franz Wolfe was born Nov. 22, 1910, in Calumet, Mich. Later his family moved to Windsor Heights, W.V., where he finished his schooling.

He married Blanche L. Lewison July 8, 1950, in Los Angeles, Calif., and they resided there for 27 years. They returned to Minnesota in 1972 and located at Rochester, Minn. On Oct. 1, 1987, they moved to The Cedars of Austin.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche; a sister and brother-in-law, Marion and John Lange, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Charles of Los Angeles.

His parents and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Feb. 20, 1989, at the Clasen-Jordan Chapel, Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating. Organist was David Moklebust and soloist, Mrs. Randy Stephenson. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
