Services for Edgar Lee Collins, age 87, of Dresden, TN will be held Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 2pm at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Dresden, TN. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8pm at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. It will resume Tuesday at 12pm and go until time of his service at 2pm.
Edgar is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Collins, of Dresden, TN. He is also survived by four children; Judy (Robby) Hatler of Gleason, TN, Faron (Cynthia Odle) Collins of Dresden, TN, David Collins of Gleason, TN, Mike (Lisa) Collins of Dresden, TN, and Stanley (Lenora) Collins of Greenwood, AR. Edgar leaves behind four siblings; Clarence Collins of Dresden, TN, Sylvia Dowland of Martin, TN, Loudell Morris of Union City, TN, and Peggy Parmer of McKenzie, TN. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Auston and Willard Dean Collins, and brother, Albert Lewis Collins.
