Rickey J. Bowlin

Muncie - Rickey J. Bowlin, 61, passed away Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018, at his residence.

He was born Wednesday, February 15, 1956 in New Castle, Indiana, the son of Thomas Paul and Hettie (Vincent) Bowlin. Rickey worked at the Pendleton Correctional Facility as a Lieutenant for twenty years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene in New Castle, Indiana. He also enjoyed being part of a Gospel Group, playing bass. Rickey's family was a very special part of his life and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Leeta (Law) Bowlin, two children, Rickey (wife Rachel) Bowlin, and Tricia (husband Scott) Frisbie; nine grandchildren; brother Larry Bowlin, and sister, Christine Helsley.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304, with pastor Randy Tooley officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018.
