Mary Ann Brownfield was born near Beardstown, Ill., Oct. 31, 1863, the daughter of William and Sarah Coy Brownfield. She was united in marriage to Alonzo Riley Miller, who preceded her in death several years ago. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Weagley of Chadwick, after an illness of three weeks. She was 75 years, three months and seven day of age at her death. She leaves to survive one daughter, Mrs. Weagley, three sons, Leonard Miller of Denver, Colo., Fred Miller of Des Moines, Neb., and Ed Miller of Lisko, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Woods of St. Paul, Kans., Mrs. Dora Miller of Decatur, Ark., and Mrs. Martha Beck of Emmit, Idaho; three brothers, Wm. Brownfield of Budlington, Junction, Mo., and Mart and Joe Brownfield of Cora, Mo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She came to Missouri to live with her daughter last November. She was formerly a resident of Liska, Neb. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 10, in the Union Church at Chadwick with the Rev. Stark of Springfield officiating. Interment was made in the Chadwick cemetery under the direction of B.C. Klepper Funeral Home of Ozark.
