Bessie was born February 5, 1931, in Port Arthur, Texas, to the late Glasper and Edith Jinks.
She was an active member of First Christian Church of Port Arthur. Bessie was an intelligent individual who enjoyed playing the ukulele in a Bluegrass Band and bowling. After her retirement she enjoyed fishing and camping.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Glasper Leonard Jinks and Edith Susanna Gambrell Bonin; and her husband, Marvin L. Morris.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Murphy and her husband, Larry, and Rhona Brink and husband, Andy; sisters, Donna Boneau and Geneva Boyer; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one expected great-great grandchild to cherish her memories.
