MARY C. WITHERS
Mrs. Mary C. Withers, 82, a longtime resident of Eudora, died late Friday at the Gardner Medical Center.
She had lived the past few months at the Orchard Lane Nursing Home in Baldwin.
Mrs. Withers had worked at the Kansas Union prior to her retirement about 1968.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Rumsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Eudora Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Allen will be in Charge.
Survivors include four sons, George Frey of Ottawa, Joseph Frey and Don Withers of Kansas City, Mo.,
and George Withers of Baldwin; three daughters, all of Lawrence, Pauline Schmitz, Pearl Church,
Barbara Evans; 42 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
