Terry Houston James, YNCS, USN (Retired)
1942-2016
Diamondhead
Terry James, age 74 passed away on July 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Geneva James, and his sister, Sandra G. Webb. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, of Diamondhead, 2 sons, one of Brazil and one of Diamondhead, granddaughter of Perkinston, 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister of Gulfport and his brother of Weatherford, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was a Christian man who served faithfully with his church family at Grace Chapel, Pass Christian, MS for many years. He traveled extensively while in the Navy, enjoyed many family vacations, and loved fishing and golfing with sons and his friend Dub Walker.
Terry joyously spent time with his granddaughter and his 2 great-granddaughters, riding horses and great grandson in youth soccer and football were fond memories for Terry. His sons, were a great joy to Terry his entire life.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Grace Chapel Church, 9208 Edwin Ladner Rd, Pass Christian, MS from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
