Lillie Mary Phillips, age 82, a resident of Brandon, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Baptist Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM Monday, February 12, 2018, at First United Pentecostal Church, Brandon with Rev. Lloyd Addock, Rev. Ken Irby, and Rev. Jerry Hamilton officiating.
Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday, February, 11, 2018, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and again Monday at First United Pentecostal Church, Brandon from 9:00 AM till 9:45 AM. Lillie was a native of Leake County, a longtime resident of Rankin County, and a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Brandon.
She was born in Thomastown, MS, on January 23, 1936, to the late Ellis Edward Odom and Lerah Odom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Earl Phillips.
She is survived by
three sons, Kenneth Phillips (Brenda) of Pelahatchie, Darrell Phillips (Charlotte) of Brandon, and Randy Phillips (Tammy) of Brandon;
eight grandchildren, Lauren Hammack, Jana Phillips, Kenzie Phillips, Evan Daniels, Gabriel Daniels, Jamie Grace Phillips, Kade Daniel Harvey, and Mercedes Phillips; two brothers, Jimmy Odom (Diane) and Tony Odom (Verna) all of Richland;
two sisters, Linda Brown (Paul) of Brandon, and Sharon Randall (Tommy) of Dallas; and a
host of other relatives and friends.
