Adeline Rita Bollig, age 88, of McKinley, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home with family by her side. She was born September 24, 1929 on the family farm in Sobieski, MN, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Lashinski) Kedrowski and was the seventh of 17 children.

She completed 6th grade at the St. Stanislaus Catholic School in Sobieski. Adeline married Matthew Bollig on January 23, 1957, moved to the Iron Range, and purchased a home in McKinley in 1962 where they raised their three daughters. Adeline was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and playing cards.

Adeline is survived by her children: Julie (Jeff) Achman, Marie Salo (Rodney), and Diane (Scott) Hildreth; grandchildren: Brian (Kate), Nathan and Amy Achman, Bonnie and Jessica (Leander) Salo, Matthew (Taylor) Hildreth and Michael Hildreth; grandchildren and a great granddaughter; brother: Daniel, Kedrowski; sister, Katherine (Ivan) Bollig; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew, son Edwin, parents, 14 siblings and numerous extended family.

Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik.
