Miss Bertha Heap, the 15-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Heap, was stricken by apoplexy while at Sunday School at Birds Chapel last Sunday.
She died three hours later.
The young lady had been in the best of health and her sudden death was a shock to the community, the greatest sympathy being given to the parents.
The funeral was held at Richland Church yesterday. Rev. Fout of Claremont conducted the service.
