Patsy Louise Woods was born April 21, 1944 in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late James Ware Sr., and Rosa Lee McMahan-Ware.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 37 years, Leonard Woods, Jr.;sisters, Nancy Bayless, Anna Jean Wells, Merle Louise Lowe, Sharon Ware; grandson, Nathan Westfield, brother, James Ware, Ernest Ware, Jerry Ware, Sr., Robert Ware Sr.; nephews, Lionel Langford, Owen Ware Jr.; aunt, Hazel Foster.

Patsy attended College Hill High School. She was employed by Charleston Hosiery and retired from Cleveland State Community College. She enjoyed watching the ID channel and Walker, Texas Ranger Television Show. Shopping was her favorite thing to do, but most importantly she loves spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Avery (Deanne) Ware Sr., Doris Crenshaw, Edward Westfield, Walter (Gwen) Westfield, Sr., and Karen Jones all of Cleveland, TN.;thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren; sisters, Dale Donohoo, Ruth Ware, Nellie Ware, all of Cleveland, Theresa (Alphoso) Baltimore of Charleston, S.C.;brothers, Milo (Candice) Ware, Owen (Angela) Ware; all of Cleveland TN.;her sisters-in-law, Brenda Ware, Shirley Runyons of Cleveland, TN, Sylvia Woods, Sandra Westfield both of Georgetown TN., Jackie Clark of Georgia, and Janice Ware of Cleveland, TN.;her brothers-in-law, Milton E. (Francine) Woods of Lexington, Kentucky, Don Woods, Floyd Woods both of Georgetown, TN. and Lowell B. Woods of Etowah, TN.; her special friends, Edith Blair, Merle Johnson, Jackie Sharp;many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Body may be viewed Tuesday January 9, 2018, from 9:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S.E. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 10, at 12:00 noon at Church of God Sanctified, 746 1st St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311. Service will begin at 1:00p.m. Bishop Guilford Hill will be the eulogist. Interment to follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
