Carmalitta Windon, 28, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, January 24, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born March 1, 1989, in Columbus, Ohio. On October 12, 2013 she married Lloyd Windon.
Carmalitta was a Physical Education Teacher at Chillicothe City Schools. She was a member of the Freedom House. Camalitta earned a Bachelors in Physical Education from Ohio University and a Bachelors in Practical Christian Ministries from Wagner Leadership Institute.
The legacy of one’s life is measured by the mark they leave on others. Throughout our community and far beyond you will witness the mark that Carmalitta left on everyone she came in contact with. From her countless students she inspired and encouraged to her co- workers and innumerable friends, her influence cries out with the testimony of genuine and relentless love. She had the innate ability to make everyone feel like her best friend. Her laughter, love and that trademark smile were not things she did but who she was.
Her adoration for her husband was obvious and the adulation she had for their son was unquenchable! Wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend she is so much more than any label can define. She was and is an eternal treasure.
It is the mandate of her lord and savior to let our light shine and the brilliance of Carmalitta’s light is incomparable and her light has not been extinguished but is shining brighter than ever!
Survived by husband Lloyd; children, Titus and Jaden; mother, Alicia Butcher; father, Rowland Sudderth; dad, James “Oody” Lowe; a very special grandmother, Marlene Hatfield; brothers, Stephen Lowe and Kevin Lowe; sisters, Tejina (Brandon) Turner, Markita (Mario) Franklin and Sierria Jones; mother-in-law, Teresa G. (Mark) Arrasmith; father-in-law, Lloyd Windon; brother-in-law, Lashane Windon; her cat, Sylvester; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles
