Jackie Thrasher, 81, moved to heaven on June 8th, 2018 from Red Bay, Alabama. She was born to Owen and Lavada Inman Mason in November, 1936. A beautiful person inside and out, she was the soul of hospitality. She loved her family and friends and was a joy to be around. Preceded in death by her parents, her sister Faye O. Mason Brown, brother James Robinson, son David Timothy Thrasher, and her in-laws Cim and Leora Thrasher. Among those she is survived by are her husband of almost 65 years, a daughter, a son, a daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, 2 great grand children, her brother-in-law, and three sisters-in-law. Although she will be sorely missed, she will be welcomed by her waiting loved ones, and her blessed Lord Jesus. If we have given our hearts and lives to Jesus, and are serving Him when our appointed time comes, we can see her again!

A home going celebration will be held at Cornerstone Church of God in Red Bay, Alabama, on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., with ministers: Tim Humphres, and Rick Bradley. Music will be provided by Cornerstone musicians and singers, with soloist Jason Thrasher. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm at the church, preceding the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Itawamba County, MS. The family is being assisted by Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.

"You can always tell where a beautiful soul has been, by the tears and the smiles left behind." (author unknown)
