Madisonville, KY - Gerald Marvin Gilbert, 70 of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was born September 26, 1947 in Lodi, CA to the late George Thomas Gilbert and Anna Lee Midwell. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene, William, Bobby, and Danny.
He was a machinist and a US Army Veteran. He was a great dad and loved to camp and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Gilbert of Nortonville, KY; three sons, William Troy Gilbert of Nortonville, David Thomas Gilbert of Madisonville, and Michael Wayne Gilbert of White Plains, KY; step-son, Chris (Michelle) Braly of Pennsylvania; one sister, Anna Patterson of Visalia, CA; two brothers, Derald Gilbert of Visalia, CA and Kenneth Gilbert of Missouri; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the White Plains Community Center.
