She was a native of Glasgow, Scotland and served in the British Army in London during WWII. After moving to the United States, she served in the U.S. Army was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Estella was very proud of her Scottish heritage and was also very proud of her US Citizenship. In 1964, she relocated to Southampton where she raised her family. Estella was very supportive of the U.S. Military, animal welfare and loved her many dogs, especially Scottish and West Highland Terriers. She was a retired Office Manager for Rottau Electric & Aqua Marine, Pemberton.
Beloved wife of the late Master Sgt. Earl Francis Smith (ret. US Army), and dear mother of Cheryl Rossiter, Marshall Rossiter & wife Karin, Stuart Smith & wife Danyelle and Douglas Smith, grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 16. She is also survived by her very beloved Hans Rottau.
Relatives and friends of Estella's family are invited to her viewing and visitation 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday morning at the Lankenau Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Vincentown, Southampton where her funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Interment with Military honors will be in Beverly National Cemetery, Edgewater Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
