Mr. Cole lived in Braxton for the last five years having come from Madison. Most of his working career was as a sales rep in the grocery industry and he was a member of The Gospel Travelers Quartet. Mr. Cole was a loving, caring and giving man who loved Ole Miss Rebel sports and hunting. He attended Holly Grove Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Angelaed (Ann) Cole.
Survivors include his son Doyle (Gia) Cole of Jackson; daughters, Sonya Cole of Byram and Tanya (Craig) Berry of Braxton; brother, Bill Cole of Natchez; sister-in-law, Doris Cole of Madison two adopted sisters Dorothy Reese and Glenda Courtney; 11 grandchildren, Lacy McCoy, Ryan Cole, Michael Skinner, Taylor Berry, Lexie & Ryan Davis, Hayden Berry, Dakota Cole, David McLeod, Cole Weeks and Lena Cole; two great grandchildren Jordyn & Jake McCoy.
