Donna Lee Freeman

In the comfort of her own home and surrounded by the love of much of her family, Donna Lee (Noel) Freeman passed away peacefully on February 7, 2018 at the age of 83. Born on March 5, 1934 - to her loving parents, Mark Lee Noel and Mary Ruth (Sommers), Donna spent much of her childhood in the hills of Bentonville, Arkansas. In 1946 her family moved to Parma, Idaho where she met the love of her life, and future husband, Wayne Monroe Freeman. Donna and Wayne were married on August 4, 1951 in Winnemucca, Nevada and after 12 years, the Freeman family - Wayne, Donna, and their four kids - moved to Monroe, Oregon in 1963. Finally, in 1994, Wayne and Donna moved to Emmett, Idaho, where they remained until her passing.

Enjoying many of the simple things in life, Donna could often be found reading, embroidering one of her many pillowcases, or watching her flowers she planted grow each spring. Donna had a love for the outdoors - camping and riding four-wheelers with her husband in the mountains above Clear Creek, Idaho was something Donna looked forward to every summer. Family was of extreme importance to Donna and she would spend countless hours playing with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There was no shortage of love in Donna's life as she is survived by her loving husband Wayne and their four children - son Gary Freeman (wife Carolyn) of Albany, Oregon; Roger Freeman (wife Cindy) of Coquille, Oregon; daughter Joyce McMahon of Emmett, Idaho; and son Jeffery Freeman of Emmett, Idaho. Donna has seven grandchildren (Michelle, Jeremy, Melissa, Amanda, Chadd, Robin, and Renee) and 10 great-grandchildren (Gus, Kaleb, Sarah, Kelsey, Dyllon, Lars, Chase, Danzig, Jax, and Cameron). Donna is also survived by her sisters Patricia Stacy, Mary Boden and brother Lawrence Noel. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Mary Noel, brothers James and Richard Noel, and son-in-law Donald McMahon.
Donna was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a beautiful person. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be in the Emmett Cemetery.
