Amy Nichole Barton of Nashville, TN entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2018 after 34 happy years of life. She was born in Richlands, Tazewell County, VA on November 25, 1983.
She was a pharmacist for United Health Care in Nashville, TN. Amy was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 2001. Amy attended Radford University where she received a B.S. Degree in Biology in 2008 and then attended Lipscomb University where she received her Pharmacy Degree in 2012. Amy had attended the Miracle Valley Church; and had lived in the Tazewell County area most of her life until she moved to Nashville, TN in 2008. She was a very determined young woman and set many goals for herself which she had achieved She created a loving and happy life for herself and worked hard while enjoying personal accomplishments. Amy was a true animal lover, she loved to rescue animals in need and gave wholeheartedly to many animal organizations. Amy was a breast cancer survivor and spent many hours in chemotherapy and radiation but she never lost her wit and sense of humor and was grateful for each and every day of her life.
Amy was preceded in death by her beloved canine, Sadie.

Uncles: Curtis Arnold and wife, Elizabeth of Bethesda, OH; Greg Arnold and wife, Stephanie of Richlands, VA; and John Arnold of Salem, VA
Several Cousins, friends and family also survive.
Funeral services for Amy Nichole Barton will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Tony Shrader and Rev. Allen Gross officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to one of the following: Nashville Humane Society Association, 213 Osceola Ave., Nashville, TN 37209; Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital; 2200 Children’s Way; Nashville, TN 37232; Metavivor Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition; 3939 Old Hickory Blvd; Old Hickory, TN 37138-2242; Big Fluffy Dog Rescue; 1206 Russell St; Nashville, TN 37206.
