Darrell Tomlinson, of Elm Mott, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Jonathan Grant will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Darrell was born October 25, 1960, to Robert and Dorothy Tomlinson. He grew up in Elm Mott, Texas and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a carpenter and has built hundreds of homes around Waco.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Linda Young; and brother, Ronnie Tomlinson.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; son, Brandon Ward and wife, Stephanie; daughters, Torissa Bethke and husband, Jeff and Casey Hammack and husband, David; Grandchildren, Karlie and Heather Ward, Adam Bennett, Cy Lewis, Cody and Todd Bethke, Caleb and Joshua Griffis and Darla Hammack; sister, Joyce Denton and husband, Michael; nephew, Jeffrey Walters, whom was like a son to him; and many more extended family members and friends.
