Mark A. Carpenter, 49, of Rockford, formerly of Elgin, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 in his home. He was born September 13, 1968 in Elgin the son of Robert & Genevieve Purcell Carpenter. He is survived by his sisters; Mary Carpenter, Monica (Bill) Siegrist; nieces: Michelle Wells, Alicia (Joel) Siegrist Sexton and Heather Siegrist; great nieces Katherine & Kristina Sexton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Michael Carpenter. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services.
