Diana "Gail" Ward, 63, of Lapeer, MI, died on her birthday, Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

She was born February 7, 1955, in Bluefield, WV, to parents, James Necessary Brewster (1926-1974) and Wilda Maxine Hill-Brewster-Harrah (1925-2014), who preceded her in death as well as a brother in law, Darrell Lovell (Deceased).

She attended schools in the Beckley area and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She worked in restaurants and was a caregiver to many elderly. Gail had a gift of crafting and decorating and was a big jokester who loved to cut up. She loved her children and grandkids, they were her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, C. W. Ward; children, Christopher Ward & wife Brandy Ward, and Heather Ward-Tingley & husband Merle Tingley; grandchildren, Laynee Ward, Chloe Ward, Brianna Tingley, & Isaac Tingley; sisters, Belinda Brewster-Tolliver & husband Bobby Tolliver, Karen Brewster-Lovell & husband Fred Lovell, Marlene Brewster-Lovell & husband Darrell Lovell (Deceased); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Beckley with Pastor Paul Chapman officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity.
