Jane Ann Ballard, 77, a lifetime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born April 29, 1940 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Noel Ballard Sr. and Edwina Rita (Fabian) Ballard.
Jane attended the Oklahoma School for the Blind from 1st grade to 6th grade. She was a proud member of the Special Olympics and Oklahoma Council of the Blind. She was also a member of Grandview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Edwina Ballard; brother, Noel “Buck” Ballard; and niece, Rachelle Palmer Perkins, who nicknamed her “Janiebanie”.
Jane is survived by her sister, Julia Palmer of Muskogee, OK.

Funeral services celebrating Jane’s life will be 10AM, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Carter Ballard, Matthew Palmer, Thomas Palmer, Tommy Fabian, Freddie Fabian, and Victor Munding. Honorary pallbearer will be C. A. Fabian.
