William was born William Penn Taylor on July 15, 1930 to William Edward and Velma Taylor in Mangham, Louisiana.
He passed away on Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018 at 2:00am at his residence surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Margie Taylor, of Baytown; daughter, Gwen Morris, of Baytown; grandson, James David Stokes, of Kenefick; great-grandson, Dallas Michael Taylor, of Baytown; his parents, William and Velma Taylor, of Monroe; sisters, Marie Shell, Vera Fisher, Margret Grigsby, Esco Alford, and Lorraine Antly; and brother, Claude Taylor, all of Louisiana.
He is survived by one sister, Grace Spence, of Louisiana; daughters, Donna Wallace (Tommy), of Beaumont, Susan Taylor, of Cleveland, Judy Williamson (John), of Sheridan, TX; sons, Terry Taylor (Jill), of Baytown, Jerry Taylor (Debbie), of Baytown; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Fatheree, Carl Fatheree, Shannon Fatheree, Tim Fatheree, George Zeigler, and Jeff Free.
