Freda and her husband owned and ran Fruit-A-Rama grocery store and a Farmers Market in Pittsburg, Baxter Springs, Columbus and Parsons.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Pam (Wayne) Windsor of Pittsburg, KS, Stena Kay (Greg) Kirk of Riverton, KS, 1 brother; Raymond Martinous of Pittsburg, Kansas, 5 grandchildren; Misty (Shawn) Burnum of Leawood, KS, Gregory P. (Jessica) Kirk of Riverton, KS, Curtis (Christie) Windsor of Girard, KS, Chris (Alishia) Windsor, Cyle (Johnyee) Windsor and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers; Johny Martinous, Lester Martinous, Mose Martinous, 4 sisters; Wanda Finn, Hazel Wilson, Emma Barnes, Margie Longan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery. Parish rosary will be recited at 7 pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Family will receive friends following the rosary until 8:30 pm.
