Grave Whisperer: Edward Beechner was born in Bavaria or Prussia. He was married to Elizabeth Groh. They had John Edward, Samuel, Emma, Henry P. and Edward G Beechner. It appears that Edward was a private in the CSA for the Union side. He was Infantry for Capt. Edgar's (Indpt.) Co. Inf., Clinton Co. (Mo.) H.G. Edward died before the 1900 census and Elizabeth was listed as a widow with the last two sons.
