James C. Munson was called home by his Savior from his rural Warsaw home on February 6, 2018. He was 74 years old.

James was born on August 10, 1943 in Warsaw to Charles A. and Mable L. (Holderman) Munson. He spent his life in the local area and had attended the former Jefferson High School.

On April 23, 1965, James was united in marriage to Carol R. Boyer in the United Pentecostal Church of Warsaw. Together the two would share 36 years before her unexpected passing in February 2002.

Although James had worked as a Polisher for Zimmer, he farmed throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing when he could. He was a strong, hardworking provider who dedicated himself to his family and his Christian faith.

A list of those left with memories to treasure includes his five children: Melissa (Ken) Koneval of Fort Wayne, Cynthia (Neil) Schulman of Plantation, FL, Michelle (Kurt) Harris of Warsaw, Stefanie (David) Freeman of Plymouth and James Munson II of Warsaw; 13 grandchildren: Kami and Kyle Koneval, Katie, Kara and Erica Schulman, Zachary, Kourtney and Baylee Harris, Spencer Smith and Izabelle, Dalton, Darla and Destiny Freeman. Also surviving are his brother, Norman (Betty) Munson of Fort Wayne and sister, Charlene Stidham of Noblesville, IN.

In addition to his loving wife, Carol, James was preceded in passing by his sister, Betty Pfeiffer.
