Preceded in death by her father & mother, Rev. Lonnie & Hattie Dunsmore, step-mother, Bobbie Dunsmore; husband, Charlie Cox, daughter, Angela Pressnell; brothers, Glen, Mike & Greg Dunsmore, sister, Helen Cupp. Survived by daughter, Trish Price, brothers, Loy, Vern, Bob, James, Ray Dunsmore, sisters Velma Killion, Teresa Garland, Karen Beal, Brenda Taylor, stepson Ernie Cox.
Susie was retired from the U.S. Post Office and moved from Knoxville to Crossville, TN in 1997 to continue her work for Jesus. She was an active member of Lighthouse of Praise in Crossville before coming ill and was a caregiver to many in her community and church. She loved talking about Jesus to anyone she met and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed singing gospel music. She resided at The Pointe @ Lifesprings Memory Care since May 2017 and impacted many of the staff and residents there with her singing.
Special thanks to the staff, nurses and aides at The Pointe @ Lifesprings and Amedysis Hospice for their love and care.
Family will receive friends Friday, February 9, 12:30-2:30pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will then proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service with Kevin Roberts and Dallas Harrell officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Justin, Jordan and Johnathan Pressnell, Tim, Corey and Zachary Price.
