Michael Mizenko Daugherty Township Michael Mizenko, 87, of Daugherty Township, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He was born December 2, 1930, in Czechoslovakia, son of the late Michael and Anna Mizenko. Michael retired from the Aliquippa Works of J & L Steel (L.T.V.) where he was a laborer. In his earlier years, Michael enjoyed golfing and bowling. He liked to be outdoors gardening. A person of deep faith, he was active in Church, read his Bible every day, and was passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. He placed tracts wherever he could and openly talked to others about his faith in Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Dixie on April 12, 1997; his twin brother, Adam; and his brother, John. He is survived by five children and their spouses, Michael (Lee) Mizenko, East Palestine, Ohio; Joseph (Cheryl) Mizenko, Daugherty Twp.; Thomas (Barbara) Mizenko, Daugherty Twp.; Robert (Tammy) Mizenko, Monaca; and Vicki Lynn (Michael) Windon, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). His funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, in the funeral home with his son, Michael Mizenko, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
