James R. Watt, 88, of Clyde Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Hospice of NW Ohio in Perrysburg.

He was born on May 9, 1929 to the late Charles "Chang" and Alma (Krauss) Watt.

After attending Clyde High School, he went on to serve in the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Electrical Engineering and was employed by Toledo Edison.

On July 31, 1954, James married Margaret "Peggy" Huntzinger, who survives him. His is also survived by his children, Margaret (Eric) Fintel of Millbury, David (Cindy) Watt of Vickery, Janet Ramirez of Fremont and Stan (Becky) Watt of Fremont, along with grandchildren, James (Tahoe) Fintel, Stephanie Fintel, Bradley Watt,Evan Watt and three great grandchildren.
Mr.. Watt was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Watt and Nelson Watt and a sister, Pauline Leonard.

Visitation will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Parish Hall , Forest St., Clyde from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018. The funeral will be at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Friday, February 9, 2018 with the Rev. Alan Watt officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery with military honors provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
