Mrs. Patricia “Tricia” Lynn Stanfill Hinton, age 59, wife of Les Hinton, and a resident of Bear Creek Pike in Columbia, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at her residence.

Born on December 8, 1958 in Davidson County, Tricia was the daughter of Ernest and Ann Fitzgerald Stanfill. She married Les Hinton on December 29, 1973 and together they owned and operated Hinton Printing Company in Nashville. Tricia was most recently a member of Straightway Christian Center. She previously worked at Heritage Funeral Home as a door greeter, where she spread her faith and enjoyed meeting families as they came through visiting at the funeral home. Tricia loved beach vacations, shopping and exercising, but nothing was closer to her heart than faith, family and friends. Most of all, Tricia dedicated her life to her family, making every moment count with her children and grandchildren. Her perfect day was a summer afternoon by the pool with those she loved.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter: Brandy (James) Phelps of Columbia; son: Darrell (Rebecca) Hinton of Columbia; grandchildren: Brenton James “B.J.” Phelps of Columbia, Trevor James Phelps of Columbia, Ava Grace Phelps of Columbia, Austin Mitchell of Columbia; sister: Debbie (James) Reeves of Chapel Hill; brother: William “Billy” Stanfill of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, D. Wesley Stanfill.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points and Pastor Steven Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Peace in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6PM and again on Monday from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
