Janice Nola Livingston Whitcomb, 74, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McBee Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 1:00 PM at McBee Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Whitcomb was born May 5, 1943, in Louisville, MS to the late Freeman O. and Ethel B. Livingston. She was a member of McBee Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Whitcomb loved her church and worked as a secretary there for several years. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and her church family. Mrs. Whitcomb worked at United Technologies for 13 years, and she worked as a hairdresser for 10 years. She will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitcomb was preceded in death by her husband- Robert Whitcomb, sister- Lois Ward, and brother- Robert Livingston.

Mrs. Whitcomb is survived by her sons- Teddy (Pam) Eaves of Steens, MS and Ricky (Kathy Potts) Eaves of Etta, MS; daughter- Angel (Bill) King of Ocean Springs, MS; grandchildren- Bradley, Rebecca, Bailey, Jacob, Logan, Kendell, Jason, Matt, Parker, and Currie; 9 great-grandchildren; and one brother- Lawrence (Barbara) Livingston of Louisville, MS.

Pallbearers will be Jason Eaves, Matt Eaves, Bradley Howard, Parker Eaves, Jacob Smith, and Logan Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie and Judy Barton, Ray Crane, Members of McBee Baptist Church, Staff of Aurora, Carley Adams and Lauren Holliman.
