Marion (Kieffer) Arnold was born on January 3, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Michael Kieffer and Marion ( -- ) Kieffer.
She met Thomas Gephart "Tom" Arnold Jr (1918-1992) in her early teens at church while growing up in Pittsburgh, and they married on June 19, 1943. Tom is the son of Thomas Gephart Arnold Sr (1891–1967) and Estelle Smock (Brodhead) Arnold (1891–1974)
After marriage Marion and Tom lived in Baltimore, Maryland, before settling in Nashville, Tennessee in 1952 where they raised their sons and she was able to pursue her love for singing religious and classical music.
Marion was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 1953 and became alto soloist in the choirs at Saint George's Episcopal Church and later at Christ Church Cathedral. In the latter church she served in volunteer and staff roles including Christian education, outreach, Stephen Ministry and community organizations.
She was j96 years old when he passed away on February 1, 2018 in Nashville.
Preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, she was survived by two married sons.
Burial and Inurnment Services were in Christ Church Cathedral, Nashville.
