Agnes Regina Williams, age 94, of Mauston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the Fairview Nursing Home in Mauston. She was born on February 11, 1924, in Litchfield, KY, the daughter of William and Mary (Higdon) White. Regina moved to Chicago with her family after she graduated from SENN High School. She married her classmate, John Brennan, and together had four children. They later moved to Woodruff, WI where they purchased and restored the Towanda Shore Resort in 1952. In 1956, they built the Cross Trails Restaurant and Motel in Minocqua. The couple later moved to Elroy, WI and purchased the Valley Inn Supper Club and Motor Inn. Regina loved running businesses and worked endlessly to ensure their success. Regina retired shortly after and met and married Robert Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Williams; brother, Robert White; sister, Lucille Wilder; brother-in-law, Russel Wilder; former spouse, John ‘Jack’ Brennan; 3 step-children and 1 grandson.
Regina is survived by her children: John (Gwen) Brennan, Nancy Brennan, Robert Brennan, Linda Luck;
Step-children: Randy, Timothy, and Robert Williams, Kris Simon, and Sharon (Kent) Sormrud; 
Sister, Katherine White; 
14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 15 step-grandchildren; and 33 step-great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
We celebrate Regina’s life with a memorial service at 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Chaplain Daniel Farber officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Eden Cemetery, Wonewoc. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
