Martin “Marty” Hunt of Waldorf, MD, died February 4, 2018.
Marty was an Offset Pressman for 36 years with N.O.A.A. (Department of Commerce) and was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Waldorf, MD. He loved the Redskins and Nationals, attending sports events with his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids and was always helping others. He enjoyed being a driver for NAPA following his government retirement.
He was the son of Martin William Hunt and Earline Louise Godwin Hunt. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Cathlyn J. Hunt; and his grandchildren: Brian Tewell and Kyle Stevens.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Hunt; his son, Mark A. Hunt (Jennifer); his daughter, Marlene M. Tewell (Greg); his brother, Allan Hunt (Carolyn); his sister, Patricia Newell (John); his grandchildren: Kristi, Kayla, Lauren, Alison, Andrew, Joseph; and his great grandchildren: Bradley, Lillian, Kaleb, Zachary, and Morgan.
Friends received on Thursday, February 8, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, February 9, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens (Waldorf, MD).
