Lola Wyatt Kight, 96, of 102 Wooten Dr., Rome, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2002. She was born March 24, 1906 in Pickens County and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Lavoe and Mary Jane Moore Wyatt, and a son, Thomas M. Kight. Survivors include: daughters, Dean Parker and Maxine Neubert; brother, Roy Wyatt; sister, Margaret Lucille Pruitt; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Treadwell officiating. Interment followed in New Harmony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice of Rome. Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
