Minnie Modlin "Punkin" Boone, 61, of the 5600 block of Hatteras Road, died Dec. 7, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Boone was born in Sedley, Va. She had retired from Global Technology after 39 years. She was a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Willie L. Boone; a daughter, Juanita B. Dunn of Portland, Ore.; two sons, Bobby L. Boone of Chesapeake and Jeff M. Boone of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Pearl M. Juel of Virginia Beach and Bernice M. Hasenei, Evelyn V. Modlin and Hope M. Dotson, all of Franklin; a brother, Clayton H. Modlin of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Linwood Peterson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Norfolk. Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
