Luella Clements, 94, passed away on February 4, 2018. She was born on August 5, 1923 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of the late John and Ida (Freuchtenicht) Hartman. Luella kept herself busy by raising her children and being involved with their many activities. Luella was a member of Concordia Lutheran church, and an avid bridge player. She still enjoyed playing card games until the very end. In her spare time she volunteered at the Bontanical Gardens for a number of years. Luella also was very involved in volunteer work elsewhere, making meals and visiting shut-ins. Surviving are her children; Debbie (Tim) Howell, Carol Seibert; grandson, Tyler Frankhouser; and sister, Lillian Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hartie Clements; son, Randy J. Clements; and siblings, Esther Westerman, Arnold Hartman. Funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Georgetowne Place, 1717 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4014 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
