Daughter of the late Harry Melson and Fay Hughes Werner, she was the widow of James R. Logan, Jr. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her only child, Theresa "Terry" Logan King. She was survived by a brother; two grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass was held on February 8, 2018, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rocky Mount, NC, with Father Tim Meares and Father Richard Turner officiating.
