George R. Allison, age 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Feb. 2, 2018. Visitation from 6-8pm Tuesday, Feb. 6th at the McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th St. KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Wed. Feb. 7th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Raytown, MO. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet. Cemetery.

George was born in Millburn, N.J. He served in the Navy during WWII. He worked at Canteen Vending Co. for 39 years in KCMO. A life long mentor to Boy Scout Troop 283 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church; George served as Scoutmaster for over 20 years and has four sons that reached the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, reaching the rank of Sachem.

Preceded in death by his son, Richard. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Rita; sons, Daniel, John, Robert (Frances), Tom and James (Laurel); and daughter, Kathleen Brill (Daniel). Five grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
